The Botanical gardens in Godawari and Phulchowki is a perfect place for bird watching, exploring the beautiful scenery and forest walk. Phulchowki is the highest hill around Kathmandu valley which provides spectacular views of Kathmandu valley, natural wildlife and magnificent views of Annapurna, Manaslu, Langtang, Ganesh Himal and Gaurishankar range in the east can be seen from here on a clear day apart from the Breathtaking view of Kathmandu valley.

Phulchowki (2782m), the highest hill situated in the south of Kathmandu valley, is one of the most beautiful hiking in terms of vegetation. After driving 14 kms south of Kathmandu for about 30 minutes to Godavari  Botanical Garden  the starting point. Pulchowki Hike starts from Godawari and consists of about 4-5 hours of easy hiking gradual uphill all the way through sub - Tropical thick forest.  After a packed lunch, we hike down following the same trail to Godavari for about 2 hours and drive back to Kathmandu.
